Hi! I’m Karen Brody, founder of Daring to Rest.


My passion lies in helping women feel rested and unlocking their radiant potential through rest. I am a mother of two boys raised on rest, with over 15 years helping thousands of women dare to rest. My gift is creating space for women to get still, listen to what they feel and know what they want so they may blossom. Be prepared during our forty days together to feel rested and rebellious as you step into your most rested self.

There are 7 live sessions. Each session is 90 minutes. You will rest with yoga nidra and journey through a process to lift layers of exhaustions, sleep better, and step onto a more rested path. Replays are available for three months after the program ends.

Got Questions?

Sessions are at 12pm Mountain Time for 90 minutes on February 6, 13, 20, 27,  March 5, 12 & 16. You can check your timezone here. If you cannot attend live, simply listen later from your at-home rest cave. (aka: the space you choose to rest). 

If you cannot attend live replays will be available in our online portal within 24 hours, and often within hours after each Rest Circle.

Each day on Zoom Karen will talk about the teaching topic, guide you into yoga nidra, and then she will guide you through a rest-centered prompt or  practice.

Don't know about yoga nidra? Yoga nidra is the most supreme relaxation imaginable. It is a sleep-based meditation and a deeply restorative state of consciousness. All you do is lie down and you are then guided to sleep with a trace of awareness. Bring your pillow and blanket to each session!

On average, you will need approximately 30-40 minutes per day to practice yoga nidra. We also suggest you set aside 15-20 minutes to journal.

For our weekly live sessions on Zoom you will need 90 minutes. You can attend the session live or listen later. The live sessions include a yoga nidra practice. 

Please note: one of the key principles we teach at Daring to Rest is that is it okay to rest imperfectly - to "chuck perfect." Many women do not practice daily. Even if you can lay down and practice once a week at our live sessions this is enough.

There are no refunds for this program as it’s fully digital and content is accessible and downloadable. Our no refund policy applies to payment plans as well. When you choose a payment plan it is a commitment to pay the entire payment.

Yes, we do. If there is space, it may be possible to join our Daring to Rest Facilitator Training for Women after this event. This retreat is phase one of our facilitator training. Contact us if you are interested in the facilitator training.
